Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services is Prudential Financial's integrated real estate brokerage franchise and relocation services business.
Real Estate markets franchises to existing real estate companies. As of December 31, 2008, there were more than 1,900 franchise offices and approximately 62,000 sales professionals in the franchise network in the US, Canada, and Mexico. All franchisees are independently owned and operated. Prudential Financial's real estate group began offering franchises in 1988 and is now one of the largest real estate brokerage franchise networks in North America.
Relocation provides comprehensive relocation services to corporations worldwide. It has locations in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, France, Singapore, and China. (Relocation operates as Pricoa Real Estate and Relocation Services, Inc. in Asia and Europe.)
Relocation offers a broad range of services critical to the relocation of clients’ employees, including coordination of intra- and inter-country relocations, international assignment management, intercultural training, global business consulting, appraisal, inspection and sale of relocating employees’ homes, equity advances to relocating employees, assistance in locating a home at the relocating employee’s destination, global household goods moving services and client cost-tracking, and a variety of relocation policy and group move consulting services, and more.
In 2008, Relocation completed approximately 200,000 relocation transactions to approximately 42,000 transferees of its corporate clients. Relocation has an established client base, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to US government agencies.

I frequently get requests as to where is a good place to when you are relocating to the area or want to come for a househunting trip and you are on a tight budget. One good place to stay is Value Place Extended Stay Hotel . This is a reasonably-priced alternative to a short term rental or a regular hotel. Minimum stay is 7 days. The hotel is located off of I40 exit 44 and is less than 10 minutes from downtown Asheville.
